New tablet

Hi giys im looking for a tablet to use at home and travel. What are your recommendtations? I was thinking of the ultra 10 or the 10 plus but is it perhaps better to wait for furthe price drops? Last time i got a tablet was back in 2015 so ot sure what the trends are and how low typically they drop before and after release of new line up. Many thanks Sam

I have the Samsung S9 Ultra. It's pretty good.
So yeah get the 9 or 10 as they're very similar.

I'd wait a few more days, the new 11 series tablets are going to be announced so will be able to pick up some decent deals regardless.

Depends what you want youse it for... I've a 9th gen ipad which does well.

I always suggest people get an iPad, in my opinion they are the best tablets around...

Unless, you want to tweak things, add storage, are just against apple for moral reasons....

My tab S10 is exceptional....

I use an s8 ultra but have used an s9 and s10 ultra and there’s very little difference between them, so I wouldn’t rule out an older one if you want to save cash and see a good deal. Just a word of warning though the ultra models feel huge compared to you standard 10/11” tablets - try and get a look at one first if you can.

I have the S9U and S10U, bought both on deals direct from Samsung. Keep an eye out for trade-in offers combined with sales.

As above, very little difference between the 8, 9 and 10.

My previous tabs were all the regular sized 10" versions, these very easy to use and carry around. The ultra is too large to hold on the sofa or watch in bed. I use mine in portrait mode on a table to read the news and browse these forums. I use the Samsung slim book cover on the back, which gives me the portrait mode, with the Samsung book cover keyboard on the front, this was included with the S10U as part of an offer.
