New take on mice?

Saw this last month on Kickstarter. I'm guessing the RRP will be £150-£190 Would anybody be interested for that price or are those features worth it?

Possibly not at that price... Suggested MSRP is something like $220!!

I'm sure the lower end is about right, perhaps still a touch high, but there are too many features I'd not use and this is still just a mouse.... and it needs more buttons!!

Button placement is cool, but I forsee a LOT of accidental deep-clicking.
No need for tilt, pivot and lift - That's more the sort of control I'd use a joystick for.

I dunno... I actually *want* to like this and I'd consider it for a fairly frivolous £120-150, but that will be the most expensive mouse I've ever shelled out on...

Agreed. Kind of lacklustre looking and as much as I want to like it, it doesn't grab my enthusiasm by the short and curlies :D.

Best

If you were keen on heavily buttoned mice I'd expect this to be as appealing regarding features but probably not the price.
Fancy peripherals like this don't make you a better gamer... but they give you more choice in how you play the game. That, for me at least, comes down to how the thing works - Using the buttons as an example, a 2-stage or deep-click isn't to my liking.
I'd much rather they added more buttons on the thumb, either side of the main two and preferably on the other fingers as well. Kinda like a combination of the G700S and the original 16-button SteelSeries WoW mouse did it, but without the latter's 'gamercentric' styling.

Still, this is a lovely mouse, even just to look at!

Looks nice and has some great features but would imagine it to be a fairly limited market, especially against established names.

It very small to me, It might have the gear for gaming and the price is up there, but end of the day is it that comfort and does it do an good job like any other mouse out there. Anyway it's to much for the cost side.

I think the idea of the... mid-finger buttons and the hooked buttons works. Add the G700's extra couple on the side and the 3 on top and the steelseries wow mouses extra couple (had the wow mouse, have the G700) and... well an extra bit I'll save for if I ever bother trying to make my mouse idea a reality and I reckon that could go quite far.
