New tax codes.

I have just received my new tax code for 2010/11, and they have totally messed it up, so it looks like spending quite a bit of time on the 0845 number on Friday to get it sorted out.
It says in the blurb that this has been done by the new computer system that has been installed to make them more efficient, as computers do not make mistakes it seems the efficiency of the people they employ to input this information needs overhauling.

Has any one else been sent the wrong code?.

what tax code were you sent? and why do you think they've messed up?

They sent me a code of 647L, my code from the previous tax year was 781T, that means my allowances have dropped by £1,335 a year.
As there has been no changes in my circumstances since the previous tax year, I can only conclude that they have made a mistake, and the annoying thing is I now have to spend my own time and money to rectify there mistake.
I wonder how much they make from the 0845 number?.
