New tech over this year

Well I was just about to order the components for my build after spending weeks researching and looking at guides.
And have just been told I'm of on tour to afghan in April for 7 months.
So besides coming back with a suntan what new tech will I have to look forward to.
I'm assuming I will hav to redesign my build and hopefully the prices might have dropped a bit.

Ivy Bridge and Kepler.

Possibily Ivy bridge -E too..

And more than likely some new AMD APU's?

Will ivy bridge E be the new version of the 3930k I was going to get.

Its a replacement for SB-E yeah, built on a smaller node and other improvements.
