They really like to annoy customers who bought Titan X's recently!
Well they did enjoy GTX 1080 Ti performance for quite a while.

It was always coming. The original TXP was not the full part so why not drop in a cut down Ti and then release the full part as the TXP Black or whatever they want to call it. This way they can still have a Titan part that will sell due to being the fastest NV part.

The P100 is slower for gaming, its designed for HPC and deep learning.

Its all about the VR. Is the deal that happened with Pokemon GO the reason why every developer thinks VR is going to be massive.

i have no doubt people will buy this, but Titan X(P) owners and even some 1080ti owners are going to be very angry.
you can see this from two ways
First
People think Titan is the best thing this Series & you should enjoy having the fastest card. annoyed at the Titan X(p)
Nvidia are getting incredible greedy & milking users who want to have the best every series. Not sure if that's their fault or Nviida (TBH)
Second

We are trying to push the boundaries as much as we can.

Not really, it's nearly £500 more than an FE Ti. Fair deal imo! (I don't think a Ti owner will miss the extra 1GB
)
