Hi

I've currently got a full size Corsair K70 RGB and some of the lights on the keys have stopped working so looking for a replacement

I'm looking to go for a TKL keyboard this time and would prefer it to be full RGB with as quiet as possible linear switches. Budget is around £150

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Cheers

I have been looking at a new keyboard and have the Corsair K70 red like you.

I have been looking at the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL (2023) not sure what others are about.

I'm also looking for a new keyboard for my home office. I think I will go TKL as well but I'm not 100% sure, will I miss having a full size keyboard?

a lot of YouTube seems to like keychron as well which seem ok priced?

Not sure if need wireless though either and the battery will add cost.

Seems to me that there will be an optimum wired but quality keyboard out there at a reasonable price it's just finding it.

Edit - I'm also confused on how to get a proper UK keyboard layout with the £sign and the larger enter key.

I'm still looking for the right keyboard and set of switches and am tempted by the Glorious GMMK TKL 80% RGB Keyboard Barebones. Not sure on the best linear quiet switches to go with it though

Fnatic ministreak is really good value at the moment. They use Cherry keys and I have two of the Silent Red. They used to be over £100 but right now can be found at £89. I have been using them for years and they are both still going strong. No problems, no paint wearing off, yet the get used almost 24/7

For something thats built like a tank, and comes very recommended but not mod friendly - the Filco Majestouch TKL can be had for £120 and is really good.

I'd avoid the GMMK TKL - its not bad, but not as good as Keychron or Filco.

If your willing to do some hunting and want to go custom, the Freebird TKL is a great keyboard and comes in ISO. Over your budget, but pretty awesome.

I looked at the G915 but for the price and only micro usb charging no thanks.

Been looking at the Keychron someone in work had one so they going to bring it in, though they only do wireless over Bluetooth rather than 2.4

I like the look of the Corsair TKL but not been able to find out if the lighting effects work while unplugged, but the I mean the custom light modes you can do within iCue only work then it’s cabelled and not wireless
