New to 360 - Few Q's

Hi all,

Picked up my 360 yeasterday and loving it, gta is great.

However, i have a few questions.

I am using my monitor and connecting through VGA, i selected my res to be 1280 x 1024, does that mean all games will now show in that res or just the dash board?

I am having to switch over my audio leads when i want to use pc sound again (AEGO 2.1), is there any way to set both up together?

I plan to use xbox live, i have the arcade pack at the moment, do I need an ethernet cat6e cable? patch or crossover?

Any help much appriciated.

You need an ethernet cable, I believe either will do. How are tyour 360 and PC connected audio wise?

All games will show at that res, whats the native res of your monitor?

Either ethernet cable will do, 360 has an auto-sensing ethernet port.
