New to 3dmark vantage, are these results any good?

i have a new(ish) rig, got it about a month ago from OCuk.

I used to be a big PC gamer years ago, but stopped for some reason and went down the console route.

anyway, so now im back into it, i havent benchmarked for sooo long and i dont really know if these scores are good or bad, no comparison or understanding of the scale of these figures.

can someone tell me if this is typical of my setup? or not? (setup in my sig)

i have a feeling the 3gb RAM is probably holding back my system.. i dont really know why i didnt order 6 in the first place ..

I got 22,000 on 3d vantage. The only difference between mine and your rig is i got a 295 instead of sli'd 280 and i got 6 gig of g skill.

I got a quick question about vantage .. will changing the texture settings ect. change score?

That's a very good score considering you're running it on Extreme.
