New to 4k advice needed

Hi people
I've treated myself to a new TV as my panasonic plasma finally bit the dust .
I'm new to 4k and want to show the wife that I haven't wasted money on an inferior picture so how can I get some 4k hdr to the screen via my pc which is in a different room? (too far to run a hdmi cable)
I have downloaded a couple of files and my pc has a 1080ti and windows 10 and the TV is on the same network via ethernet.
Any advice appreciated.

I have no experience with plex or emby, but would I simply be able to install a plex app on my Windows 10 pc and then stream the files to an android app on the android tv? Would this give me 4k hdr?

if you've got Netflix or Amazon Prime both have plenty of content that support HDR / Dolby vision @ 4k easier than trying to get the PC connected.

I didn't know they did hdr that's interesting thank you.
