okay, I think that I've setup the SMP client, as it says the additional tags are -smp 2. With the console client, how can I tell it to pause? Does it do this automatically if I close it, or is it not possible to start and stop when doing it in the console?
Thanks for the help guys
EDIT: How can I be sure that it's using both cores?
Not sure about pausing a client, but you can stop a console client (that is, close the console client window) by pressing Ctrl+C (probably the same as just closing it, but this is how I was taught to do it). Regarding the core thingy, I think that if Task Manager shows all cores at 100% then it's running correctly, but I'd wait for someone to confirm that as I'm not au fait with folding
hmm, according to task manager it's using near to 50%, indicating 1 core... Ahh well I'll try and get it to change next time. Not sure what more I can do though.
