New to folding

Hey everyone.

I started folding today using the GUI windows version of Folding@Home and the results im getting are looking a bit rubbish

Ive been using FahMon and they say my rig is chucking out 160ppd and that its going to be 2 days till my first WU is complete? Is this normal for this spec:

E6300 @ 2.5Ghz
2Gb Corsair PC6400
XP Home

Any suggestions?

maybe a touch low, depending on Work Unit, im guessing you have a 212* of some kind?

Yup, just read about these in another post. It appears to be a 2125 :eek:

Is there any way to stop getting these really nasty units?

Sadly, not really. That PPD is actually quite good for a 2125, they're not much fun. You can play around with the -advmethods flag (explained in the F@H guide) - sometimes gets you better WUs but is no guarantee. Other that that, all you can do is wait - new folders often seem to get a rubbish WU first for some reason :confused:
