By prod how do you mean?

Might be best if i wait for a more stable version if its that buggy - im a bit of a novice to be honest. :)
 
I don't know what they're all complaining about. Mine's had absolutely no down time or any other problems at all since I've been running it :rolleyes: :)

yeah mine was fine too - though I didn't do as much as restart the client (let alone the machine) for the whole time I was running it.

I didn't even dare restart my Router as the wireless connection dropping out could even have upset it. :o
 
Same - it tends to die if my network drops out, which can be a problem especially if you're on wireless. I've also had a problem with downloading a new WU after the last one has finished.

It's not really that much hassle, though, if you're willing to keep an eye on it. Here's a list of bugs, but most of them aren't too bad - and it can seriously improve your PPD. :)

Yeah, those are not nice. It's because they need oodles of cache. They also take ages to upload :p

Haven't tried the GPU client - I doubt an X1800XT is gonna be that fast?

It'd be better than a standard client for sure - otherwise probably not much point really.
If it worked with the CPU client rather than instead of it that'd be a different issue I'm sure :p
