if i remember correctly WoW prefers Nvidia graphics cards so maybe switch the 6850 for a gtx460?

oh and you should probs post a budget so people can get an idea of what you're aiming for :)

Hi,

For spending over 650 I would recommend SB, or waiting for BD.

You should also buy a good brand PSU, don't cut down on that.

i always thought the bequiet 530W PSU was a pretty good one, because its been reccommended in countless budget builds in the past, including my one

*edit*
im sure i saw the bequiet PSU here a moment ago, whered it go?

I wouldn't say you need 8GB of RAM. 4GB is absolutely fine for gaming. If you do video/photo editing then you might want 8, but for gaming 4 is fine.

I'd definitely go for SB, you can fit it into a £650 build.

There's also nothing wrong with the BeQuiet PSU.

One of the best deals around for cheap builds :) Reasonably Cheap but reasonable quality, which is a lot more than what you can say for a lot of cheaper builds...

thx for such quick replys faster than i thought, i can dwngrade to 4gig memory as that saves £40 on it meaning i can spend it somwhere else,

sorry for being a bit simple with pc's but what is SB?

for a extra £8 i can get a ocz stealthxtreme 700W power supply,

Indeed, i only have 8 in my gaming rig cause i multibox a lot and wow can be ram hungry, and as an above poster mentioned, i didnt know wow preferred nvidia :o

Could possibly save yourself a few quid with a 5850 deal at the moment, Don't rule it out as you can always SLI Later on at some point. My two cent

thx very much m8

I just built the spec in my sig for under £560. Then you would still have plenty left over for a good PSU. Runs WoW over 60fps on everything maxed, and Rift on default Ultra again 50-60fps. Only ever seen it drop to 30fps when doing raid events.

I've got this for £650 for a 2500K. The 560 SOC kick some serious butts. Cooler should OC at 4.4, 4.5 GHz. Can replace the 560 SOC with the 480 SOC, or the 6950 2GB.

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK Motherboard Bundle - Intel Core i5 2500K & Asus P8P67 Intel P67 Mainboard **B3 Revision** £277.98
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti SUPER OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £199.98
1 x XFX Pro 650W Core Edition Power Supply £65.99
1 x Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case with Fan Controller - Black £44.99
1 x Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £38.39
1 x Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler (Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3/775/1155/1156/1366) £20.99
