New to gaming PCs Need help

I’m very inexperienced in PCs building, bought a PC of amazon and now I am getting into Gaming!

Currently running a HDD which is Slow, want to upgrade to a SSD!

Pc currently has one SSD slot tried to instal windows boot onto the SSD which I purchased and would never recognise the SSD. Tried to format... it never worked.

is there any other option to get this PC so it can be fast and run games??

So the windows is currently on HDD? If so can you see the SSD when you go to disk management or 'This PC'?

no never showed up at all, starting to think the SSD is faulty.

If you go to disk management
It may be you need to initialize the ssd
It won't show up in my pc until initialized and assigned a drive letter
Failing that the full specs of the pc would help
And is it possible you haven't connected the ssd properly?
