New to Intel overclocking - Getting E8600

I am going Intel this week having spent 10 years using AMD.
I can overclock an AMD chip no prolems but I dont have to think about RAM divider ratios and I am sure other things aswell.

Please could someone either post up the intel specifics of ocing or point me in the right direction of a guide.

I have read in various places that if I go above 1.4 volts on the cpu then IT WILL DIE!. Is this true?

Please help
