Rather than bombard you all with my next stupid question I thought I'd try and put them here in one place. Some of it I've been able to google but some I'd rather have user opinions!
1. So I went to airdrop some pictures from my iPhone to Mac fort a quick Ebay post. But the file format was one I'd not encountered before HEIC which appears to be an apple compression. Now I see in the options on the phone I can set them as jpeg. Do you do this or convert them on the Mac end?
It's odd to me that if I drag the pics of the phone by cable they have always been jpeg but airdrop its HEIC.
2. So it appears iTunes is gone. I'm used to having it on PC even though I didn't like it much. I used it purely for the back up to my computer. Plug our devices in and have a local back up for quick restore or update to a new device.
Do you still do this? Or am I better to use the 200GB plan and save it there. We have 3 iPads, 3 phones and 3 watches. It might be enough! When you buy a new device isn't it quicker to just do it through a Mac local back up?
Thanks for any time you can give this!
