Hi there this is my first post im hoping some kind people may be able to give me a little bit of info. Firstly i spend most of my computing time on my laptop but i have had a desktop pc sitting doing nothing much for a few months now, the only thing i use it for is converting movie files to dvd and a few other minor tasks. It used to have a 5600+ processor in it which i found pretty quick but im a novice so what seems quick to me most probably will be old news to you guys...it now consists of the following:
ECS Elitegroup GeForce6100PM-M2 AM2/AM2+/AM3 Motherboard
AMD ATHLON 64 3500+ 2.2GHz AM2 CPU (Orleans Core)
Stock Heatsink + Fan
2GB OCZ DDR2 800MHz Platinum Revision 2
160GB SATA Seagate Barracuda HDD
Is there any way i can OC this setup to within any real degree of performance upgrade? if so, where do it start? I have read numerous tutorials but am confused as to the settings available in my bios. For example theres no settings to manually ajust FSB, Multiplier or Vcore? Any help greatly appreciated!! (Please go easy on me i know its not the most modern of rigs but i am hoping to go up in the world from this point lol) Thanks.
