I thought the 4Gb was Matte black and the 250Gb Gloss?

Might be a stupid question, but is this worth getting over the bigger HD? What do you use the HD for on a 360?

Storing game saves, demos, music/videos/pictures, you can save games to the hard drive as well so the 360 is quieter when playing.

I think that's all you use the HDD for O_O

I think if you purely use the drive for saved games then this would be enough. People get bigger HDDs to put on music/videos/pictures, lots of demos, etc. That's the way i see it.

Mainly use my 250gb HD upgrade to 'install' the game from the DVD. You still need to have the DVD in the drive to play the game but it fires up much quicker and once the DVD-check is over, the DVD drive spins down and stops sounding like a washing machine whilst you play

Hard drive on the Xbox I use it to put the game discs onto it, therefore the disc drive only gets used to check to see if game is in xbox then after loads game data from the hard drive, as in my case the discs are noisy buggers which otherwise would be getting accessed all the time.
