New To OS X

Hi, I got myself a Little Ibook G4 with MAC OS X on it, I have little experiance with MAC OS X, Is there any programs which i should be using, Anything that i would need.

Also i do not have the original recovery disks for the unit but have got a MAC OS X disk, can i use this, would i need to download drivers?

Nah, all the drivers should come with it. The only driver I've ever needed to install was for my printer, an HPLJ 5550n.

As for software, what is it you are wishing to do with it? Adium is the best messing client. You can get Firefox if you don't like to use Safari.

Best thing to do first is to plug your mac into the internet, and click the blue apple symbol in the top left, and slick software update!

That will update it to the newest updates!

Yeah, there's this neat picture editing thingamajig called Photoshop. You could give that a whirl.
