well im kinda new to overclocking - read up about it - know a lot about it (in theory) so i felt comfortable doing this rig of mine...
right basicly do you guys thing i have reached my top FSB?
situation currently (highest stable) is this...
what i did was..
firstly stuck the vCore to the highest possible setting (1.55v iirc, only runs at 1.52-1.54 anyway)
stuck the ram upto 2.65vDimm
slowed the ram down to 133mhz (this is cheap ram, would never go above 200, 166 didnt give me enough head room to push the FSB as high as i have, also this board dosent allow me to set devider)
no chipset voltage settings
dropped HT to 3x from 4x
then started pushing the FSB up and up and up
got to 2300mhz, wouldnt go beyond that stable
dropped the HT to 2x
pushed and push
now at 2500mhz stable have i got any options left or do you rekon ive pushed the FSB as far as it will go?
