hi guys i havent long bought my nice new intel 6600 and Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi motherboard, the ram i know lets me down, but atm i cannot afford to replace it, im married 3 kids mortage blah blah, it is ddr 667 corsiar vaule select mem.atm im using the standard intel heatsink and fan, but in a bit im going to install my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler, for wich i was told i should have installed it with the cpu in the first please, lol anyhow, in the motherboard box there is a fan that clips on to the motherbord chipset heatsink, a few questions if i may question 1} is it possible to use the fan supplied with the motherbord with my setup, and 2) which way around should i place the heatsink and fan, atm my fan configuration is, i have one 80cm fan drawing air in, one on the side pannel drawing air in, and two at the rear blowing air out, not to mention the fan on the psu drawing air out, i want to be able to set it up so i can go for that elusive 3ghz clock speed, or near to it as possible, i have manged thru the bios auto clock option and selected the 5% overclcok, it runs stable im able to play battlefield 2142 with noprobs at all, i think it sproberly running hot, but hat leads me onto my next question, what is the best program to show me in xp desktop, the cpu temp and motherboard temp i obviously dont want to fry my kit, also, anyone in here have any recomendations for the bios settings for me please.
