Hey guys,

Tonight i am ordering myself

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler (Socket 939 / AM2 / AM3 / 775 / 1156 / 1366)

And i am wondering what sort of Overclock i should be looking at realisticly ?

At the moment though my case isn't the best but i am buying an antec 300 in the next few weeks :D

My Motherboard is a Asus M4A78 AMD 770 (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

And i have Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel (KHX6400D2LLK2/4G) Ram.

Some of the Zalman coolers look nice.

Also, random note. If you get to 19x multiplier I found that CnQ stopped working. So just check to see if it does then I would say you should decrease the multiplier and increase the bus.

3.8ghz is normal for Phenom II

4ghz if you 're very lucky.

I would probably get a different cooler like the coolermaster 212 if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

or this one

if you don't mind the extra tenner.

Reason for this is the Freezer 7 pro is not really the ideal for overclocking.

Sadly i've ordered now but may buy a better cooler in the future this will be my first time overclocking so i'm not looking to spend huge amounts, but i'm also buying a new case soon so might get the coolermaster 212 aswell :D

yeah, i get that too. I read that its a limitation of CnQ. It also stops working for me when i go over 210mhz ref clock, but i have a hunch that may be the motherboard being a spazz.
