new to overclocking

my system
i5 2500k, gigabyte z68xp-ud3 1000w psu,noctua nh-d14 coolermaster cosmos 2
gtx 580 sli 16 g ripjawsx 1600 mhz.

am i safe to use these settings,
1. Enter the BIOS by pressing Delete as the PC starts
2. Enter the Advanced menu by clicking the button in the top-right corner
3. Set the CPU multiplier to 45x
4. Enable Load-Line Calibration
5. Set the CPU voltage to 1.3-1.35V
6. Set the CPU PLL to 1.9V
7. Set the VCCSA to 1.1V
8. Set the VCCIO to 1.106V
9. Hit F10 to save and restart
ty.
 
I would probably start at multi x43 and go from there. Also, you want to be using offset mode so that when your CPU isn't under load, the voltage will drop down to under 1v. Keep speedstep enabled and overclock the turbo multi.
 
I've got mine set for a minus offset of 0.010v and a multi of x43. When idling the CPU downclocks to x16 and around 1v, then jumps up to x43 and 1.28v when under load. These are nice safe settings and are a good place to start.

Make sure you double check your settings before saving them though as it is easy to type the wrong value and fry your chip with 1.6v or something.
