Hi, im new to seti@home, i think i have set up the client before as i had a login for boinc, is there a way i can check im on the team?

hmm, i am on the berkeley one, i was logged in before, im just trying to download all the things i need within the client, the downloads keep timing out and im getting max dl speeds of like 15kbps. also ive tried to cinfigure the client to use around 90% cpu and gpu and when i test it, the cpu shoots straight to 100% =/

Boinc % does not work quite how you would think it uses the nearest ammount of cores to %.

If you have a quad core and put in 80% it will use 3 cores ie 75%.

If you have a dual core try 50% that should use one core but it will use some of the other for the gpu.

Downloads have been slow for a few days, dont worry about that

The servers @ Berkeley have had a lot of problems for months plus bandwidth is an issue. Downloads timing out are usual & uploads with not work sometimes. Set your cache at least to 5 days.
