I know hefty and sff don't sound like they go together, but I'm looking for a sff rig for 3d gaming and playing via a projector to over 100 inches (unsure to res as yet). I'd like it to be fairly future proof, last pc has lasted 3 years and now feels very slow.

Standard Specification
• Thermaltake Armor A30 Black Mesh, USB 3.0, SFF OR Stylish Silverstone Sugo SG03B-F Black SFF SFF Case
• 2 x 80mm Standard Case Fans
• Intel Core i7 2600K Unlocked, Quad Core (1155, 3.40GHz, 8MB Cache) Processor
• Scythe Shuriken Quiet Low Profile CPU Cooler
• Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z, 4xDIMM, Max. 32GB, M-ATX (USB 3.0, SATA 3.0) Motherboard
• Choice of ATI HD6970 2GB OR GTX 570 1280MB PCI Express Graphics Card
• 16GB (4 x 4GB) Kingston HyperX PC12800 1600MHz DDR3 Ram
• 120GB Ultrafast Sandforce Solid State Drive SATA III For OS & Programs
• New 2000GB SATA III Data Drive Hard Drive
• Pioneer Blu Ray Writer & DVD +/- Rewriter
• Internal Multi Card Reader With M2, Micro SD & USB Port
• Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit Version) With Original CD
• Nero Essentials & Cyberlink Power DVD
• Antec Modular 750W Dual 12V Rail PSU
• 2 Years Return To Base (1st yr. Parts & Labour, 2nd yr. Labour) Warranty

Have seen this elsewhere for £1400 what do you think? My limit would be about £1400 I'd say.

Are these rigs quiet?

Cheers in advance

I don't know why they list 2x80mm fans instead of 120mm for a Sugo SG03B-F unless it's to do with graphics card length.

Wonder if you get a Rev. B Scythe Shuriken as it doesn't specially mention.

I think the B is the only version which fits 1155 sockets.

I have just bought a Shuriken to replace a passive cooler on my 8400 that was going into a case that wouldn't accept the 150+mm of the Ninja. I'm very impressed with it for the size and it is quiet (although it runs slowly as the temps are lowish and it's controlled by the BIOS).

I'd recommend the Silverstone TJ-08e for the case (though ocuk don't currently stock it) as it has been amazing for my matx build as it can take a full hight cpu cooler and the massive fan on the front helps keep it cool inside :)

Mix it with Jamesfreddie's spec and you are rolling
