I've decided to jump ship from the CustomPC folding team and join yours :D . Pity i can't take my measly 6000 points with me :mad: .

I've just installed suse and the smp client on my machine which is running 2 X opteron 285's so hopefully i should see some points rolling in. I'm no crunching away at a 3024 core so in about 9 hores i should have finished. Not sure if this is fast or not :confused: .

Welcome to the team.

p3024 is worth 652 points so if it's 9 hours that would be 1700+ PPD :eek:
That's more than all my old Socket A machines and my X2 put together :p
 
Just been out to have a look(Computers in the garage, the house isn't big enough ) and its 50% complete after a little over 3:50hrs so hopefully about 9 PM the core will have finished. I'll have to give it a few days to see what my overall PPD will be.
 
First unit finished in 8hrs 19mins and it looks like i've just got another 3024 Core.

652Pts so i should be able to get about 1600PPD hopefully. :D

1995 Points in a little over 24hrs and hopefully i'll have another 691Pts by the end of the day. I knew there was a reason to changing over to Linux. :D
