New to the group

Hi - Just moved my credits over from MURC Group, approx 105,000 credits with the vast majority on SETI.

What is the main focus here, FOlding, SETI...... or what

Currently running Core2 6600 @3.35Ghz on water cooling with 2Gb Ram.

Folding is gaining an increasingly competetive following, but there are a hardcore number of BOINC users, spread accross the diverse platform or projects including Seti. The choice is yours, every cruncher counts

Jesus - it look a bit complicated and I'm pretty PC literate.

Might stick with SETI for the time being.

Nah there isn't anything complicated for the average user. Is there anything in particular you find difficult?

I do admit it does seem daunting at first, but with this group of maniacs it wont take long for your questions to get answered

Folding's easy. I appreciate some of the discussions between the fanatics can get a bit hardcore but the setup itself is child's play
