Hi,

I have just gotten a second hand gaming pc and am looking to upgrade the graphics card if possible. I have already upgraded the RAM to the maximum. Current Specs are below.

Motherboard: Acer veriton x2611G
Processor: Intel core i5-2500 3.30Ghz
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Power supply: 600W

Can currently run GTA V at decent FPS on "normal to high" settings

Any help appreciated

Looking at your board and non K CPU i would only risk Nvidia (with BIOS update) - the 1650Super would see a marked improvement in GPU intensive games and is a sensible price limit to throw at an ageing/EOL system.

I agree with the 1650 Super recommendation, it makes the most sense here for a GPU upgrade. What games are you trying to play, however? Some CPU-intensive games, such as AC:Odyssey, will still struggle after a GPU upgrade.

Thank you for your recommendation. I'm not sure what sort of things I'm going to play yet. GTA V is a certain as already have this. I may look into flight sims or driving/racing games.

I'd go for something like the 1660 Super below - quick read online says your CPU (i5 2500) will of course bottle neck it, but only by 15% or less in most games.

You can always carry it forward if you do a proper upgrade at a later date, it'll still compliment the system very well.

Do you know what exact make/model that PSU is also?

Odyssey struggles at anything below a six core, no joke. It has two, yes two drm running.
