right, i need a "portfolio" website,, plus general use..

I have a wordpress at the moment, which I'm just toying with (www.psypher5.co.uk) but I don't like how its all blog related, with comments bars etc below everything. However I do like a blog option. I quite like the theme atm (ive messed with the text colour adding the blue, as i go on ill tweak the images and incorp the blue more)

I'd ideally like to be able to make a front page, and be able to make a blank page, so i can just plonk a load of images in a table for instance.

For use with a portoflio, so i can just show a set of images without the "comment" options etc.

could anyone help? f i need to explain stuff i will

HA, i just made a "blank" page... I spose its just clicking things and messing!

so, anything i should get pluginwise for wordpress?

i decided to stuff wordpress and go it alone! Mainly as i don't really "need" any main features... I just need basics

And I spose i'll be a good learning curve.

so far in my photoshop project:

with http://www.psypher5.co.uk/ as a place holder

When thats finished, ill somehow get it in to dreamwaver :/

got a mate at uni whos doing a lot of php etc, and knows his way around dm. Said he would help me out

that just a contact page, so gmail icon brings up a contact form in the lower area, and the other icons (mouse over makes them blue, while the others are greyed out) highlight a link/username with clickable icons. If you get me?!

Agreed about the 5/S, tried to keep it "pixelated" as its not a font, its just hand painted in over the blocks behind it, hmmm. Will have a ponder.

this is the latest, havent touched it for a few days though. Was just messing about, the "dear tom" theme is carried out throughout the site, with a "hello..." and "welcome..." on home/about pages. It made me chuckle anyway.

EDIT:

cutting out the 5/S and adding a normal font 5 works, ill just stylise it a bit more. gives a nice contrast to the straight edged psypher too.
