im using sipgate and i dont understand the charge rate.

if i want to phone France which cost ( 1.70 p/min )

what does ( 1.70 p/min ) mean?

1.7 pence (GBP) or £1 .70 pence (GBP)?

and for

Voipcheap.com

price for Finland (EUR/min): 0.012
Currency Converter is : 0.012 Euro = 0.008097 British Pound

is that mean: less than 1 pence (GBP)

thanks

It means that Sipgate will charge you 1.7p for every minute or part minute for the duration of your call to France.

Voipcheap.com seem to be cheaper. Assuming your conversion is correct, then they will charge you just over 0.8p for every minute or part minute for the duration of the call.

Having never used either carrier before, just check to make sure there is no 1 off call connnection cost or similar (I doubt there will be).

Sipgate is £0. 1.7 pence (less than 2 pence a minute) expensive

I'm using www.internet calls.com I pay around 10Euros for 4 months of 5 hours a week of free calls Those calls are free to most mainline countries including the UK. voipcheap is out of the same stable.
