New to Wireless, need suggestions

Hi I'm new to wireless networks so please give suggestions:

I currently have a wired nework with a Linksys router.

I just got a Wii and want to connect it to the net with its wireless thingy.

Can anyone suggest a cheap decent router I can use. I plan to keep the computers connected by wires. Are there routers that have capability for both, or should I use both routers?

I currently have Telewest 4mb cable, but I plan to change to Sky's service if its faster, so I want to make sure the router won't limit the best speeds.

I don't know anything about networks really etc so if anyone could suggest the best layout and equipment, either with existing gear or relatively cheap new stuff, I would appreciate any input.

If you want to keep the router you've got, you could get a wireless access point.

Yup. Linksys WRT54GL is one such example.

You'd need to buy an ADSL modem, or replace the router.

Hmm it seems Sky Max provides a wireless broadband box.

Does anyone know if it allows you to connect cables too?

Yes, it has a 4 port switch.
