Today Ubisoft has announced the development of Tom Clancy’s HAWX (high-altitude warfare), an awe-inspiring game that is primed to revolutionize the way players think about combat in the sky. Scheduled for release in Fall 2008, Tom Clancy’s HAWX turns consumers into elite pilots of the future. The game will appear on the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3 and on PC.

“Tom Clancy’s HAWX marks the next evolution of high altitude warfare in the Tom Clancy video game universe,” said John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft. “We are thrilled to take to the skies and provide a new environment along with an extension of a familiar storyline from our other successful Tom Clancy franchises such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.”

As the Viral stuff was all over the GRAW site i was kinda hoping it would be GRAW3 but guess ill have to wait....

Nice, i always loved Air Combat games (never enjoyed FSX) so hopefully knowing Ubi this should be great, might be a reason to get a new joystick :D
 
woah! looks awesome. i wasnt too hot on ace combat for the 360.... i dont know why it just didnt feel right..

but this looks good, 50 flyable aircraft. is there a list of aircraft anywhere? i will be picking this up for ps3. also what sounds good is friends can drop in straight into the combat even if you are flying on your own on a mission. how cool is that. (if i read it correctly)

looks good, ive been waiting for a decent upto date fighter sim for ages, you recon they will bring out some kind of 360 flight stick?
