Any recommendations on a tool box please?

Runnign out of space for "piles" of tools and need something to organise screwdrivers, pliers, allen keys etc.

Thoughts:
Not tiny but not huge. 40/50cm wide maybe?
Compartmentalised would be nice.
No specific brand.

Thanks

This is likely going to be heavily impacted by how much you want to spend?
Halfords often have a sale on their Advanced toolboxes/chests which imo are middle of the road cost wise..

Yeah depends what you want really. I have a garage trolley like this which a lot of my stuff lives on/in https://www.amazon.co.uk/AllRight-Storage-Trolley-Garage-Workshop/dp/B01M9FATVJ

Then i have an old fashioned cantilever toolbox which i got from Halfords years ago which the rest lives in or when i need to take stuff with me https://www.halfords.com/tools/stor...-professional-cantilever-tool-box-730402.html as for me a big snapon style roller chest in the garage is all well and good but not much use to me on a track day or when i'm doing stuff in the house.

Bigger tools for me are kept in storage bins on some rack shelving, like grinders, jigsaws etc

I like the ck magma tool tote.

depends what u need it for!
I use a CK Magma technicians case for my electrical kit at work it's great but after 4 years of constant use it's looking battered! For my gas tools I have a Stanley FatMax split bag, and my solder kit is in my original British gas tool box (blue chest).

Your bag is specific for you, recommendations are all well and good but nothing beats getting the feel and look of a bag for yourself.

I've got this Stanley Fatmax

Only "problem" is that as I can fit all my tools in, it weighs a ton.

If you've got lots of screws etc then these are good to store them.

You can remove the compartment you want.

Plus it helps that they're both yellow and black, so match my DeWalt tools :p

I like the look of that tool bag @nst68. I have a stanley tote bag and it is so easy to keep piling tools on top of tools. Spend half my time taking everything out to get the item on the bottom.

I've got a couple of the 3 drawer + Flip lid tool boxes from Halfords.

They're decent for the money when you find them on a special offer.

I got a knock off version of the fatmax, for like £15 and it's pretty decent.

Though it doesn't look as good/has as many compartments.
