I have one of the Speedlink clip-ons, very unobtrusive to wear and very good pickup quality too, I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't partial to headsets.

I have the Logitech USB model and its a great mic for the price, no complaints, could have done it all black like the other model though . Will allways been headphones and separate mic in the future fo me.

In my experience gamers prefer to use a headset with a mic on it, dont get feedback
and stuff either.

Headset with mic on it is okay, but I'm currently using a large surround sound system so been on the lookout for a mic for sometime.

Been using one of the 3.5mm Logitech's over the weekend I bought last week when these came in, seems to be doing the job okay as the guys in TS can understand me again...

There is nothing worse than a muffled microphone!! I was having a match in Cod4 on the weekend and a guy in vent had a microphone which sounded like he had a pillow over the top.

And *hopefully*, if you have a quality clip-on mic, it shouldn't pick up feedback or background noise either. Although I'm still waiting on my SpeedLink clip-on, so I'm just praying that's the case!
