Which has the better clarity?
And if the Logitech was about 40cm from my mouth would it pickup fine?

I've used a Logitech USB for months now, I can use Mumble set to voice activity and get away with it due to having it 60 - 70cm away from my head, next to my monitor infact. Much better clarity than my old headset and I don't have to use god awful headset earphones when I want to talk.

I've got the logitech USB mic and it easily picks up voices from the other side of the room.

It also has a big green button you can bash if the mrs rages at you for whatever reason.
