I'm actually the kind of person who likes to see reimaged (or reimagined) with current technology/standards (if you can even call them standards ;/ ). I'm able enough to discern the differences in that they are two films, if I don't like the new one I don't have to kick up an illogical stink like most people are just because it has the Total Recall name.
A completeley unrelated movie, I heard a new flight of the navigator was being made, I loved the original as a kid and still do, I'd love to see what they'd make of it today. If they screw it up, my life goes on.

As for the film, whats the point in even calling this total recall when its not going to live up to the expectations in any form....the humour....action...arnie....ironside.
At the end of the day it may be alrite but theres no point in calling this a remake or giving it the same title. They would have been better off calling the film something else. Man Hollywood really has run out of ideas.

Jason Statham would have been a better choice lol.

Hmm as typing this i clicked on the trailer and visually it looks damn good but i duno. Is it just effects or does it have a good story and is it uber violent as the original with blood and guts and mindless killing? What about the "five kids to feed" guy? lol.

Could have been a good idea - if they had decided to make a movie faithful to the original Philip K Dick story (We Can Remember it for you Wholesale) instead of just profiting on the Total Recall name.
