very nice! best colour also :)

Thanks, I would have prefered the blue or black though. But there was very few left in showrooms that weren't green. The silver is growing on me and once i've bunged a few tasty bits of carbon on it will go down well I think :)

Very nice indeed! I keep seeing these on special down my local dealer at a v nice price. If only i had the money! I'm sure you'll enjoy it :D

Yeah I lost my no claims through not having a bike insured on the road in last 2 years so I couldn't go for a 1 litre. So this only has 800bhp per tonne, better than a scooter I suppose :)

Lovely bike looks better than the model I rode (the one before) Didnt think it had 800hp per ton though? My Busa only has 830bhp per ton at the wheel!

How much power do they have now? I was thinking it was about 115hp at the wheels and weighing in at 163ish kilos? Which works out at 705hp per ton. Still it handles amazingly and I am looking at getting rid of the Busa now (had it two years and its just to heavy to have fun on really) and going back to a sports bike just not sure which  There are so many out there I want to own!!

Hope you enjoy it which i am sure you will and if you dont mind me asking how much was it to get insured on it with zero no claims? as I will soon possibly have to give up the bike to get a house :( so will end up being in the same situation.

Ok, not that I belive this for a second mind you, but Kwak specs claim 130ps at 161kg. But that is dry weight and we all know it's more than likely 115bhp in the real world. I was just fantasising with the big numbers though so it don't really matter :)

I have been riding on and off since 98 and had 4 years no claims but they had expired. FC garaged with euro cover and breakdown was £550 from carole nash. I'm aged 30 and live in the sticks, fenland cambridgeshire so probably one of the lowest risk areas. I have no claims or convictions.

My best mate went from a gsxr750 to a busa and is now back on a gsxr600 and he is shocked how much more pleasure he gets out of it round the corners. The busa is a point and squirt weapon for many riders him included but I think getting the best out of it round the twisties was beyond his capabilities, and mine too :)

Tell me about it. I went from a GSXR600K1 to a Busa. It is very much a point and squirt machine if you like the twisties. I have raised the rear but its still not a patch on my 600 for handling. If I was to only use it as a commuter on m-ways and flowing smooth A-roads then its an awsome bike its acceleration is immense. In roll ons my brother had to be in 4th gear on his GSXR600k4 to keep up with me in 6th acclereating from about 60mph (so he was well into his power) I was at about 3000rpm, its just crazy. I had to really learn about forceful countersteering again though when I got on the Busa. It just doesnt flow like the 600's do. Saying that the new thou's are so light that I'm sure they flow now too with ease.

Time for a change for me I'm thinking. I'm not that bothered about peak power more about torque and effortless acceleration, maybe its time I tried a V-twin (SP2? I dont see many off those on the road)

That insurance isn't to bad. I'm 28 now so would be about the same age etc if I have to sell up though I was considering just buying a little c90 and keeping that insured for £60 a year until i get a bigger one. Just not to keen on riding it to the MOT place once a year :D

There really isnt anything better than picking up a new bike :D

I guess Kawasaki got two of them 600s strapped em together for mine :p
