Got myself a new toy to play with over the winter.

It's a Grand Cheokee Jeep, 4.7 limited.

Quite good fun actually though it rolls massively around corners. Expected that really though.

It was £3100 with 65,000 miles on it. Seemed like a bargin so I couldn't resist.

What reg is it?

Sounds great for the money!

Limited - So it has leather as standard, does it have any extras?

I'm not sure exactly what came as standard. It's got electric everything though and an 'infinity gold' hifi. Spec is pretty good.

Nice, but Ive got to ask the big question....are you going to use it properly? :p

I got it a bit stuck already. It's got road tyres on so not wonderful off road. Mud is fun though.

I do hope then that you are going to learn how to drive it properly, and do so responsibly because the last thing "we" (the 4x4 comminuty) needs is another muppet with money and no brains trashing byways (with or without vehicular rights) and giving us all bad press.

I was thinking of joining one of the local 4x4 clubs, but not sure if it has enough offroad ability tbh.

not bad, good buy...what year is it?.....hope youve got a bottomless pocket to fuel that beast up with :p nearly went for one myself except the 4.7 is so thirsty, so decided to go for a Mazda RX8 :D which yet is just as bad as gobbeling juice :( :D

Very glad to hear it, you also might want to look at places like www.mud-club.com which is excellent and caters for all vehicles not just landy owners like myself. If you wish to use public byways instead of just pay and play sites or private land then consider looking up GLASS or CRAG as they both fight for our vehicular rights on "green lanes" and give advice and help for everyone involved in their use.

As for tis ability, dont you worry about that, that car can easily take you places you'd never dream of going (except through deep water!!!!) and i was recently very impressed when i was out with one along with my defender 90 and some others in their 90's and rangies - the jeep really was good, and far more luxurious than ours too!!!

Some pics of what you wanna be doing!!!

Heh,

Looks fun.

Needs some propper tyres though. How uncomfortable will it be with mud terriain tyres on the road?

I presume they are going to be a lot better than all terrian tyres on the mud?
