Really looking forward to this. Obviously we've known there's collaborative car between Toyota and BMW in the works with various camo photos being shown from the 'Ring etc. The car has now been formally announced as the new 'Supra' as of a few minutes ago with the racing concept version being unveiled at Geneva. More info here :)

Nice! Looks a lot like the ft86 concept they had a while ago.

Toyota haven't made a bad sports car, so it will be good :)

Looks stunning - almost like a cross between the old Supra and the Z4 (which is unsurprising and not a bad thing!)

Any talks of what engine they're throwing in it? I beg the gods not a 4cyl.

Didn't think it was a V8, that's not very Japanese.

At first I was expecting a flat engine like the gt86, but I guess not with BMW.

Yeah, probably not... just a bit of wishful thinking + being a little mean and getting some hopes up maybe haha.

    Plenty of V8 Lexuseseses though.

I suppose the M3/M4 engine would be acceptable in it...

might even be from bmw.. as they do have a couple to hand ! at the same time I would not be surprised if we end up getting a few different engines.. including 4pots.

There's going to be a few by the look of it. 4 pot turbo in the lower spec, I6 for higher specs.

Have seen rumours that its might be getting the BMW N54 engine, so it would be another twin turbo straight six.
