I got myself some Nike Air Rifts a couple weeks ago and seriously, comfy as hell! Especially during these Summer months where your feet get to breath a bit better.
Only drawback is if you wear socks... "Rift" socks will cost a fortune and are hard to find unless you go online (even more espensive)
Paid full whack once, nigh on £90 on a pair of DC's and 80 or so on a pair of Acupuncture, neither of them saw me thru more than a few month.
My Converse allstars and a couple of pairs of airwalks have lasted me a good few year lol I think I've even still got my first pair of cons and only after 6/7 years are they starting to fall apart lol
My two other pairs of trainers arrived today. One cost £30+p&p and the other £15+p&p. Previous were £35+p&p. Not all trainers are overpriced. Its just a thread showing whats out there and what others have bought - dont complain you might find your next pair due to this thread!
I usually pay around £50-£60 for each pair. They usually last years due to having 11 pairs currently, each one looks pretty much new, even ones that are over a year old. I like to clean the trainers as much as I can, keeps them looking fresh
