New TV advice

Hey guys, in need of buying a new TV, looking at the sony 49xe9005 but no one on here seems to have talked about Sony for a while, looking through the threads.

Local Currys had a ks8000 for just under 950 I believe, not 100% if it was the 49 or 55 though.

Any recommendations of elsewhere to look in the market for a 49-55 4k HDR tv for my living room? Used almost constantly for sky and gaming.

The TV's I'm looking at are both LG, either the 770V or the 850V for 10bit HDR

came across a new stock (as in, not an ex-display) 55" LG C6V today, for just shy of £1500... not sure if totally insane for not buying...

yeah i saw that in currys, but its curved and i heard if your not in the right place to view it then it looks wrong

Only ones I saw in Currys were ex-display... Richer Sounds had it as brand new stock. (Not sure where they got them from!)
