Hi
My samsung smart tv packed up, i paid like £600 on it and then like 2 months out of warranty it went faulty
Anyway bought a new cheaper panasonic tv
Well impressed with it, however the faces look orange
The options in tv are minimal, only like backlight, colour, brightness, contrast and sharpness
What do i do to improve this?
Is there like a guide i can follow or any hints or tips?

If there is no white balance, you're pretty much out of luck. As it's likely in the service menu due to it being a cheap model. Which isn't wise going in there for joe nobody.

are you watching reality tv?

it not as above hit the av forums and see what other people are using

What does that have to do with the messed up skin tones?

perhaps the tv colour output is wholly accurate and its the peoples skin that is messed up?

you weren't watching bargain hunt were you?

example 1

example 2

example 1 is a perfect example of what you will find in a lot of programming especially reality tv.

example 2 is a perfect example of a lovely pair of coconuts and are funnily enough not orange

Wouldn't know unless one was there seeing his set. A correctly dialled in TV will make the worst of content look good and by the sounds of it, the skin tones are glowing rather than looking naturally rich with heavy lights. From perhaps not enough blue in the white balance or as some tv manufacturers ramp up the colour control to compensate for the poor blacks. Therefor your picture is over-saturated.
