Office manager has been tasked with getting an ad-hoc purchase for a TV for our meeting room and wanted to run some options by me, so I thought I would run them by OcUK :p.

My TV knowledge is outdated particularly on the lower end. We don't have any crazy requirements; 55" range which will be wall mounted, decent amount of HDMI (2.0 would be nice), easy to use and an OS that doesn't feel like walking through mud and one that can switch/handle aspect ratios well (sounds odd but the current one struggles to show the correct aspect ratio for PC mode half the time). These are their suggestions so guessing the budget is round the £400-600 range.
  • Samsung HAU8000 139.7 cm (55") 4K Ultra HD Smart TV Black 20 W - £515.00
  • Samsung Series 7 UE55CU7100KXXU TV 139.7 cm (55") 4K Ultra HD Smart TV Wi-Fi - £495.00
  • LG 55US662H3ZC 55” UHD Hotel TV - £445.00
Any good or go to TVs for this price range? Thanks :)

Sorry forgot to add, just to plug our laptops into via a USB-C dell dock (HDMI) and go through things like spreadsheets. We also do basic video conferencing using a USB web cam.

I’d be tempted to go for something commercial - you’ll find that a TV used in an office won’t meet the warranty terms and conditions. Furthermore, the LEDs in a commercial product are likely to be of better quality and rated for more use.

Something like the Iiyama LE5041UHS-B1 may do the job.

Thank you, I'll look into it :).
