New tv for PS4 Pro sub £500

Hello all,

I’m after a tv to replace a full hd tv I’m using for a PS4 Pro.

I have a maximum budget of £500

So far I’ve nailed it down to either the

LG 43UJ630V it’s currently £399 down from £550 I think

Or the

Samsung UE40MU6100 that’s about £450.

I’m completely stuck as for what one to get or if I should be looking at something else for the money. I’d like a 4k hdr set even tho these seem to be 8-bit panels im sure it’s still better then no hdr.

Anyway any advice welcome.

Second hand LG OLED? Should be able to get a 1080p 910v - I love mine for gaming, and don't feel the need for 4K using it at the distance I do.

Simply put, you don't have enough of a budget to get a decent HDR TV. It's HDR that makes the picture look much better than 1080p, so without a decent implementation you're missing out big time. You could try the Black Friday sales and see what they have to offer. You've missed the 2016 EOL sets and are now need to wait for the 2017 TVs to drop. I am guessing you want a TV around 40"-43"?
