New TV problem - Red is pink?

Hey guys.

I've just purchased a new TV (24 inch Philips Widescreen).

I've got a problem though, when I try to play games on my PS2 any reds in the games I play come out as a dark pink colour. I've obviously gone in to my picture settings and had a mess about but can't find anything to fix the solution.

I've tried hooking my PS2 up with two different methods too. Both with the standard yellow, white and red pin cable you get with the PS2 and also a scart which is supposed to improve picture quality. Both give the same (pink) result.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Just with the PSX? Have you tried SCART RGB input?

RGB. Google it.
Is it pink with other inputs/channels? (if so knackered TV)
If it's just that input use RGB over SCART, use fully wired SCART cable to the SCART RGB input on your TV, configure TV and PSX to output/accept RGB.
