We've been happily using a 42" Panasonic TX-P42ST30B for the last 9 years, however, it literally went pop earlier this week!

I've been looking for a replacement for the last few days, and I'm too far out of the loop to be able to make a decision. I've been thinking of an upgrade for some time, but never really looked into it too much as the old Panasonic was serving our needs well enough.

I've got a budget around £800 or so, just hoping someone can give a little bit of advice really. We mainly watch Netflix, Amazon and Sky.

I've been looking at a couple in particular, any thoughts or recommendations on the following...

Samsung QE55Q70R
Sony KD55XF9005

I read the Android OS on the Sony was a bit of a drawback, if anyone has any experience to share on this?

Is there anything else I should be looking at for this budget?

Have a look on avforums tv guide. Q70R is currently a good pick, was recommended to me there also. Im waiting for more sales though in run up to 2020 model releases.
