Game mode is there for that reason, not sure why you would consider it a negative point? Plus once you set it to game mode for your PS4 input then you don't need to change it again.

Very nice tv sets imo by Sony at the moment... I was pro Samsung for a while, but when I upgraded to a Sony I soon noticed how little I did to get the ps4 to display perfectly and with no input lag at all..
Sky tv looked amazing and media playback is superb on it. The Samsung even though I got great results with a Samsung it took me quite a lot more tinkering with the settings and even then, out the box the Sony is better imo..

Massive thumbs up from me for Sony.
I recently bought a Sony KDL42-W705, and it's bloody incredible. I couldn't believe the picture quality on it from even SD tv channels, but HD sources, including games on the Xbox One, are just amazing. I was so impressed that even games like FIFA had me amazed at how good they looked, I was coming from a 6 year old Samsung 32" LCD though, which may have been a factor.
