New tyre recommendations

Hello,

My Toyo Proxes T1-S 215/40/17 on my Mini Cooper have almost run out of tread on both front and back.
I've gone through 4x fronts and 2x backs in just over 15,000 miles.
I can still get hold of the T1-S and I love the grip, but I fancy trying something a bit different and more hard wearing.
Not too bothered about cost, but the cheaper the better.
Hard wearing is a must.
What do you recommend?

If you like Toyo's, the T1-R's are supposed to be more hard wearing.

Or have I got that the wrong way round

I "think" it's the other way round.
Not a fan of any tyre, it was just what was on when I bought the car.
