New Tyres: CSC5 again?

Its that time again!! Last time round I got some Conti Sport Contact 5s for the rear but its fronts time.

I can get them for £132 fitted.

Is there a better tyre for 205/50 R17 for ~less?

If you have CS5's on the back why wouldnt you get them on the front, too?

You should be able to find them a bit cheaper than that. They're £120 each from Event for example but I've just got another pair for mine as they seem to do everything well so there doesn't seem much point trying anything else.

I swap 2 at a time, which means unless I'm going to be on the same tyre for the rest of time it means I can switch to whatever is highly rated at the time.

@Gribs, thanks. They don't seem to deliver round me! £132 is the cheapest in Bristol it seems.

But you have CS5 on the rear and it's still one of the very best tyres on the road. Therefore why wouldn't you want to take the opportunity to have all 4 tyres the same? This is the most desireable situation, surely?

Indeed it is, however there is no harm in checking if something better/equally as good for less had come along!!
