New UFC Game by THQ

^^ this is why i refuse to play ranked matches.
I will only play a ranked match now when they actually sort out the quit spammers.
If you play unranked you wont get people quiting on you.
 
Ah well, thats good news anyway... The lvl 39 had on the bit where it has "Good ground game" etc... 27 match winning streak... tainted if you ask me... I messaged him after and he told me it signed him off, tbh he was probably fully aware of what he was doing
 
Just got this game today and had a quick play.

Could the PS3 owners send me a friend invite and if I see you online I'll give you a few games.

I'm still rubbish by the way. :D

Just completed a career mode. I honestly can't be bothered with the sparring and the tasks, honestly, all i want to do is fight so i end up skipping all the added stuff. Managed to hammer through a career mode in no time at all. I feel quite empty about the game to be fair. I thought career mode would be better.... suppose i'll just hack at online play.

I thought career mode would be better as well. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying it so far but I hate having to constantly fix sponsor logos to your shorts and the contant emails are really annoying as most aren't important enough to look at.

Loving the ground game during the fights though as I'm starting to get into it a bit more and learn which direction I need to tansition in for certain moves.

Had to switch on the stamina bar though as I was gassing out far too fast without being able to see it.
 
Just finished my second season on carear mode. Must say towards the end the camps were getting very samey and quite boring. It all leads me to the fights though so thats a good thing :)

Finished on 29-5 i believe (might have been 28-5) as MW champ on expert. A.Silva beat me the first time i challenged him with some epic MT knees, hit me with about 4 of em and i was done :( The other losses were 2 flash KO's while trading and the other two were submissions when my fighter was new and had about 35 submission defense skill :D

Fighting Hendo is hillariously funny on expert, shot after shot after shot, stuff them and take his back with hooks -> mount -> finished.
 
for the sponsors, the best way to do it in my opinion is to put all 10 logo's on initally to get 350 Cred in total. Then just stick with them until you do 5 of the same training camps and then swap all the THQ logo's to your camps logo's which will give you 800 cred per fight. Once that's done you'll never have to go back again to that awful menu again.

I always find in career mode the fight to get me from the Fight Night cards to the full UFC cards the hardest.
 
Had a couple of fights online last night but the lag made it unplayable and there seems to be no way to see the connection strength of you or the person you're matching up with.:(
 
Just got this new for 22 quid :D ps3

Playing though carrer mode atm and got my arse handed to me by by sparing partner lol think he level 4 or something

Also some of the models are class but then some just feel half assed
 
can anyone give me some tips on transmissions and standing grappling?

My stand-up is pretty good and I can pull off subs with no problem but I am useless on the ground at defending and getting a better position I normal mess up big time by spinning the wrong way when am trying to go for full mount.

Also I always seemed to get slammed on my head in a standing grapple
 
Online is eassyyyy :)

The majority of peoples ground game is awful, so just get the full mount and pound away :)

Just won 3 fights in 10 mins via this method :)

Am i the only one who is annoyed with how short career mode is in the game? I managed to complete the career as middleweight in a day with a record of like 29-10-0.
 
I haven't been on the playstation in over 3-4 weeks, nice to see the game is still a laggy POS though :D.
There is always a way around the disconnect fix, you see it in every game you play, they always find away around it sooner or later.

Thought I would bring back this thread instead of making a new one... Im still playing this online on PS3... all I need to get it the 1 hit KO medal online... Has anyone got this?
